Suntech has signed the contract to provide network inventory solution for Lower Silesian Broadband Network (Dolnoslaskie Sieci Szerokopasmowe). SunVizion Network Inventory system developed by Suntech will significantly facilitate the management of the Lower Silesian broadband infrastructure allowing instant access to detailed information about the entire network.

Lower Silesian backbone is 40 million euro investment implemented under the EU project. The project aims to eliminate the exclusion of telecommunication areas, that is, areas where so far due to the low profitability did not work any telecom operator. Lower Silesian backbone will reach more than thousand villages and small towns and provide nearly 600 points of access.

"We are proud to participate in such a prestigious project," says Piotr Saczuk, CEO of Suntech. "Thanks to inventory of Lower Silesian backbone we will be able to once again prove that our cost-effective, world-class solution can be perfectly suited also for inventory of broadband network. Our system supports all network technologies so it will easily cope with the specific requirements of the inventory of Lower Silesian backbone."
