SunVizion is a process-centric OSS/BSS solution. It offers several tools and software components designed to help you to improve business processes such as customer care, order fulfillment, fault management, and others by feeding these processes with the key information about your network.

Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools

SunVizion offers advanced Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools that help you to leverage your network information. The system is equipped with a number of mechanisms enabling efficient preparation of statements and cross-sectional reports. The reports are produced based on previously defined templates, which specify data collection, processing, and formatting. The reports are available through a dedicated Web Report Viewer as well as directly through the SunVizion applications.  The SunVizion reporting tools are based on best-in-class QlikView Business Intelligence solution.

Data Modeling and Migration Tools

SunVizion allows for expanding information model with definitions of new technologies, new types of devices and their parameters. Device templates allow for simplifying and accelerating the process of introducing information about the devices purchased or installed in the network.

SunVizion can automatically feed the Network Information Management system repository with information collected from external data sources. They may include: databases, files of different formats (e.g. text files, xls, XML, and binary files) as well as vector maps prepared in CAD environments (e.g. AutoCAD, Microstation, MapInfo) and external GIS systems. The latter is a particularly important functionality in the process of data migration from other systems or from graphical data owned by the operator.

Fault and Outage Management

The SunVzion provides full integration with Failure/Outage Management systems such as IBM Netcool. It registers failure and outage information, including: date of failure/outage, broken element, type of failure, etc. The failure history is available for future reliability analyses.

Based on information SunVizion is able to analyze the impact of a network failure or a planned outage and prepare instructions for maintenance teams that should handle it. The system is also able to automatically prepare reports with a list of buildings and subscribers as well as their services affected by given failure/outage. It can also automatically trigger necessary customer care and field operation procedures.
